Sudanese Women Groups Calls For Civil disobedience and general strike

In response to the military coup started this morning. Sudanese women groups, among Alharsait " Guardians", called for general strike and civil disobedience to fight against the military. Other civil society organizations and professional unions led by the Sudanese Professional Unions Association called for the same response.
Sudanese people woke up today with major arrest campaign against civilian government ministers and activists. The military started the arrest campaign around 3 am Sudan time. The internet and phone services have been shut down for most companies. Women rights groups expressed fears of increasing arrest campaign that put Sudanese women rights activists and groups at serious risk in the coming hours.
