Women Memorandum Calls for Equality & Reaffirm Support to Civilian Rule

The Sudanese Women's Union and a number of other women's bodies handed over a protest note today, Monday, September 27, 2021, While standing in front of the council of Ministers in Khartoum, They demanded in it for improving conditions, women's participation, signing agreements that preserve their rights, and reforming the justice system, and the bodies renewed their stick by to civilian government.

The memorandum was received by Aisha Hamad, gender advisor in the Council of Ministers and representative of the Council, and promised to study it and present it to the Prime Minister.
